(Don’t) Look at me

Type: Photomontage

“(Don’t) Look at Me” is self-portraits based 
on a collage of personal photographs, mainly 
of the nude and semi-nude body, which are 
enhanced through layers of colour and images 
drawn from Inexplicata Volantes.

The work explores the ambivalence between 
the desire to be seen and the need for protection 
through concealment: the images reveal enough 
of the body to express this urge to speak through 
it, while the coloured filter softens the exposed 
nude form, creating a modest and protective veil.

Manii

Year: 2024

Between shadows and colour, this work focuses 
on a reinterpretation of several photographs of 
hand shadows.

Manii is a gentle study of hands and joints, creating 
ghostly, disembodied and unsettling versions of them.

The final composition is inspired by a previous piece 
from Inktober 2023, which you can find below.

Nos Guerres Intérieures (ft. Maison Riso)

Type: Drawing & Risograph printing
Year: 2025

Created during a short workshop, this piece was 
developed in collaboration with five other designers 
and artists. The prompt was “The War”.

We decided to focus on the self and mental health 
through the idea of “our internal battles”. Each of us 
drew a monster representing our own personal struggle.

The drawings were then placed on different surfaces 
and printed using a Risograph, a machine capable of 
producing bolder colours than the traditional printer.

InkTober 2023

Year: 2023

Inktober is an annual drawing challenge created 
by Jake Parker in 2009, originally as a way to improve 
his inking skills and develop more consistent creative 
habits.

Taking place throughout October, the challenge 
invites artists to create drawings in ink (or digital 
equivalents), often following a list of daily prompts, 
and to share them online using the Inktober hashtag. 

Beyond the technical use of ink, Inktober is mainly 
about discipline, experimentation and creative 
continuity: producing regularly, accepting imperfection, 
and using the constraint of one medium and one month 
as a way to push visual ideas further.
